Group Projects
I can safely consider group projects to be the worst thing that a teacher can give me. The reason why I loathe them so much is because I always end up having to save everyone else. It is ridiculous. I have been assigned a group project about a month ago and my group decided to spend the whole month talking. Well that's fun for the hour but what about when presentation day comes? My group and I were suppose to present today but you know what happened instead? Failure. I am so glad that my teacher at least saw that I really did try. It started because I told my group that I don't know how to work powerpoint that well and I do not own a flash drive. A person in my group had a powerpoint on the chapter assigned so we were going to change it. I did all of the changes and sent it to the person who was suppose to bring it to class. He didn't answer my email so I attempted to save it onto a cd. Well today, I learned in my class that I saved it in the wrong format. I was also left up there without the guy who was suppose to help me because he decided that he wanted to show up to class 40 minutes late. Great. I tried to get it to work, I told my teacher how I edited to ppt and he saw that I really did try so he was kind enough to let us present tomorrow. So you know what I did for 3 hours today...? I redid the whole powerpoint. By myself! I am always the one to carry the group. They are lucky that my grade depends on this... The last thing I am going to do is let them be responsible for my bad grade. Stupid group projects. Oh, and I have another powerpoint due with the same group on Monday. I am sure I will have fun putting that together.
